Full Job Description

On behalf of our manufacturing client based in Alcester (B49) we are looking for a Sales / Office Administrator to join their team and provide support to our sales and production teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing one or two customer accounts, processing orders, and providing administrative support alongside purchasing for the entire factory.,

  • Managing 1-2 customer accounts and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer information.

  • Be the main contact for all purchasing in the business

  • Be able to send off quotations to customers

  • Regular stock checks

  • Develop and maintain relationships suppliers and customers.

  • Prepare reports on purchasing and timelines.

  • Able to speak to suppliers on a regular basis and update the team

  • Answering the main phone line and redirecting calls / dealing with customers / suppliers.

  • Keeping an eye on customer accounts and ensure customer satisfaction, keeping them up to date with order progression while liaising with production

  • Helping the Production manager with any supplier issues and tracking orders due

  • Data Inputting onto new IT system

  • Checking Prices / Data when needed

    The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
