Part-Time Management Accountant

This is a part-time hybrid role for a Management Accountant. Working c. 8 hours per week, the business is flexible as to the working pattern of these hours and would consider one full day or two half-days. The Management Accountant will be responsible for

• Invoice and supplier management and transactions


• Payroll admin


• Cash Management


• Reporting (One Stream as well as preparing annual accounts)


• Budget tracking / establishment and forecasting


• Project Accounting


• Accounting Software Administration (Xero, or Sage or other).


It is important, therefore, that the Management Accountant demonstrates the highest level of integrity and discretion. Flexibility is also important and a "roll your sleeves up" approach will be welcomed.


• Knowledge of bookkeeping and financial statement preparation


• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software


• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines


• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills


• Experience with IFS would be advantageous


• Qualified in a professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA or AAT


• Ability to obtain SC Clearance essential (5 years UK residency minimum)
