Part Time Pharmacist

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated pharmacist (WDA experience preferred) to join our team on a part time basis (one day per week initially) to take on the role of the pharmacy RP/Deputy RP for our new wholesale pharmacy (WDA licence).

The successful candidate will take on the responsibilities of the RP - This includes, but not limited to, the below:

The Responsible Person has several responsibilities, which include the following:

· Ensuring that the quality management system is in place and that it complies with GDP regulations.

· Ensuring that the products are transported, stored and delivered according to the license and in compliance with GDP regulations.

· Ensuring that the products are not tampered with, stolen or counterfeited during distribution.

· Ensuring that the products are properly labelled and that all necessary documentation is completed and maintained.

· Ensuring that any deviations from GDP regulations are identified, documented and investigated, and that corrective actions are taken to prevent a recurrence.

· Ensuring that all personnel involved in the distribution process are trained and competent in GDP regulations.

· Ensuring that all records related to the distribution process are complete, accurate and maintained.

Consultant RP support available and training for RP role will be provided for a suitable candidate.

· MPharm degree or equivalent, and a Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)

· Two references are required, one of them to be from your current employer

Desired Experience

· Minimum one year of experience in leading a Pharmacy dispensing team or service

· Detailed understanding of the GPhC principles and standards

· Knowledge of working with a WDA

· Currently working as an RP/Deputy RP would be preferable
