GBA Group provide leading class end-to-end finished vehicle logistics solutions to Motor Manufacturers, Daily Rental Operators, Leasing Companies and Large Fleet organisations inclusive of port of entry stevedoring and terminal management, new and used vehicle preparation, transportation and technology services.

The position will be required to manage our PDI Workshop, Compound, Parts and Warranty team and provide high standards of Customer Service located at GBA's VWG PDI Centre, Queenborough, Nr Sheerness Kent. This role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis, and offers the right candidate a chance to join a successful Group with high employee engagement., As PDI Manager, you will have accountability for the PDI vehicle movements, workshop activity including PDI, rectification, warranty and parts requirements for our VWG PDI Centre. With support from the Senior Management team, colleagues as well as internal support service functions, you will:

· Lead, manage and motivate a team of automotive technical staff, ensuring the operation is adequately resourced and skilled to meet Company and Customer objectives.

· Drive a high-performance culture, ensuring performance is recognised and underperformance is managed.

· Ensure operational performance meets day to day delivery of Company and customer KPI's and SLA's.

· Set objectives for each department, and plan accordingly to ensure efficiency and product targets are met.

· Accurately produce and finalise reporting, in line with group reporting frameworks.

· Development and delivery of Company and business strategies to support objectives and projects.

· Support the Company and operation to consistently achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.

· Ensure all activities are conducted in line with GBA Group, manufacturer and regulatory requirements.

· 2+ years Operations Management experience, preferably industry related but not essential.

· 3+ years experience in managing staff including performance monitoring.

· High competency and experience with Microsoft Excel & Word is required

· Quality and customer service driven

· Ability to prioritise and multi-task in a busy environment
