Full Job Description

Accompany and assist me to access and navigate the complexities of being out and about while finding things that I do enjoy. Some examples might be:
Self defence/Martial arts sessions
Exploring friendships/social groups
Employment fairs
Open days (University/college)

    Please note, if you are successful in your application for this position you will be employed directly by the individual employer and not Independent Lives. Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.

    I want to grow in confidence as well as practice and learn skills that will put me in control of my life.
    My interests are: playing video games (single player), dystopian literature, current affairs, sometimes watching football on the TV and occasionally watching movies (any genre except horror).
    This role is to help me get out for the things I like to do (which at times, I'm not even sure on myself), to help me navigate the places and people I might encounter.
    A large part of this role is to help build my confidence and positive attitude in everyday life. A personal assistant that is encouraging, a good listener and active would be an ideal fit for me.
