Your role as a PA is to assist our client to achieve her goals and live life to the fullest!

About our Client

Our client has a passion for music, travel and generally making the most out of life.

Travel is a big part of her life and is something she firmly plans to continue doing when she leaves college in July this year.

Part of your role as PA will be accompany her to events and adventures, ensuring all of her needs are met so she can fully enjoy the experience.

When closer to home, our client enjoys visiting restaurants and going shopping.

She is also currently studying at college with the goal of starting a career.

Job Responsibilities:

- Assist the client in a wide range of support activities including; personal care and help with domestic tasks such as maintaining a clean living space, washing clients clothes and general tidying.

- Cook and assist our client with eating/drinking.

- Be flexible and creative to minimise the barriers that people with disabilities face. Identifying potential problems and finding ways to solve them.

- Assist the client organising and implementing her plans to progress with her career, hobbies and social life.

- Be enthusiastic and maintain a positive outlook on life. With spending a significant amount of time with our client, PAs should act as a positive influence on the client's life and encourage her to engage with the community.

  • This role operates on a variable shift pattern. PAs will have their own private room in the client's residence.

  • A minimum of one weekend per month cover is needed - Friday 5-9pm, Saturday 9am-9pm and Sunday 9am-9pm.

  • Plus bank staff to cover sickness and holiday cover.

    Be trustworthy and have a positive and enthusiastic outlook on life.


  • - Have an eye for detail when it comes to cleanliness and housekeeping

    - Be flexible with working hours. Our client is happy to be flexible around any reasonable requests PAs may have.

    - Be flexible and adaptable to a variety of tasks in a working day, including animal care and housekeeping

    - Have strong communication skills.

    - Be flexible and adapt quickly to new situations/environments.

    - A strong desire to help others, you will clearly see the impact you will have every day so if you possess this, this is the role for you!

    - Be able to cook, and assist with clients food shopping

    - Full UK driving licence.
  • Be patient and caring. Our client uses an EyeGaze to communicate, so can take a little longer to talk.


  • About You - Desirable Attributes:

    - Have a good sense of humour, our client is very sociable and enjoys having a laugh!

    - Be confident around technology.

    - Awareness of how to promote good mental health,
  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

  • Care home: 1 year (preferred)

  • Home care: 1 year (preferred)
