Full Job Description
- Install and accurately fit prefabricated steel and stainless steel pipework.
- Construct and assemble prefabricated skids with heat plate exchangers, including external piping that extends to the hospital's rooftop plantroom.
- Perform internal upgrades by replacing old heat plates and pipework.
- Ensure all new installations are seamlessly connected to the existing hospital pipework, guaranteeing optimal operation and integration.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pipefitter for a vital infrastructure upgrade at Wycombe Hospital. The project entails installing prefabricated steel and stainless flanged spools, constructing and integrating a new prefabricated skid with heat plate exchangers, and performing comprehensive upgrades to the hospital's heating systems across multiple plant rooms., Extensive experience in fitting large pipework spools and using chain blocks and lifting equipment. - CSCS certification is mandatory for all applicants.
- At least one team member must hold a PASMA card.
- Proven ability to work independently, as the project lead will not be on-site daily.
- Strong communication skills, with the capacity to effectively coordinate with a non-working supervisor who will be present at all times.
Additional Information:
This project marks the beginning of five planned upgrades to the hospital's heating systems. Successful completion of this project may lead to further opportunities to work on the subsequent enhancements of plant rooms.
£16 - £28 an hour - Full-time, Temporary contract
