Plasterer and Bricklayer

We are in search for an Plasterer and Bricklayer for 6 months initially with the possibility of extension. You will predominantly be based in their Belfast site.

• ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be expected to fulfil a requirement to:


• Perform plastering and bricklayer tasks such as wall and ceiling repairs, installations, and refinishing.Lay bricks in a systematic pattern to create walls, arches, and other structures


• Prepare surfaces by removing old plaster, filling cracks, and applying appropriate coatings.


• Ensure accurate measurements, precise leveling, and smooth application of plaster materials.


• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and deliver exceptional results.


• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.


• Mix mortar or other adhesives to hold bricks in place


• Use hand tools such as trowels, levels, and jointers to ensure precise alignment and smooth finishes


• Cut bricks to size using saws or chisels


• Repair or replace damaged bricks or masonry units
  
  Proven experience as a plasterer, Bricklayer demonstrating proficiency in a variety of plastering techniques.


• Sound knowledge of plastering and bricklying tools, materials, and equipment.


• Strong attention to detail and the ability to achieve flawless finishes.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project requirements.


• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of assignments.


• Good physical stamina and dexterity for working in different environments.
