Full Job Description

The focus of this team is on the experience of the end user who starts out as a prospect and has an interest in purchasing a subscription. The journey continues through possible offers, and then to the purchase journey. The Commerce Product Design Team also cares for the UX of the user who wants to upgrade, downgrade, or wants to cancel their subscription.
This role holder mentor, conceive, define, design, develop, test, and launch vivid and compelling experiences that are contextually relevant, exceedingly useful, and will drive results.
This role will specifically focus on initial product discovery, evaluation, and merchandising.
What You'll Do:

  • Deliver end-to-end UX for high-value, consumer-centric digital products.

  • Translate requirements to flows that can leverage from existing flow and/or establish new flows.

  • Grow the fidelity of the UX flows and care for the edge cases, and the nuances of the experience across various devices.

  • Provide creative thought leadership and drive UX design solutions by combining industry best practices with your own expertise and insight about human behaviour.

  • Lead design teams in ideation and concept explorations.

  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and other internal partners to define the strategy & experience of consumer facing products.

  • Pass off work UX flows to a Product UI Designer

  • Work with foundational leads, such as UX Research, UX Engineer, UX Design Systems Lead, and also UX Content Design/UX Writer

  • Present creative to all audiences. Formulate and communicate ideas and plans to peers, leadership, and engineering contributors.

  • Balance inputs from business, design, research, technology, and external partners. Create a network of cross-functional partners. Build rapport and earn trust.

  • Collaborate with product owners and engineers to successfully deliver products to market.

  • Lead others. Grow talent. Provide creative direction and mentorship to designers and define patterns and practices for the team and the product.

  • Provide updates to leadership and address blockers for the team.

  • Have a human centred design approach to how to evolve our output and process.

  • Maintain a critical eye, and an obsessive attention to detail.

  • An ambassador to a healthy and collaborative culture for our product organization.

    7+ years industry experience in the field of UX/Product Design.

  • You have worked on a commerce experience in the past that focused on- acquisition, prospects, product display page (PDP), or a shopping cart.

  • An online portfolio reflecting that experience, including shipped and currently in-market products, and demonstrating end-to-end design methodology.

  • Advanced expertise with leading design tools, including the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, Sketch, Figma, and other collaboration and prototyping tools.

  • Past experience working on a commerce product that entails a commerce journey.

  • Demonstrated expertise and experience designing for web, mobile, and other application platforms.

  • Seasoned design leadership skills with relentlessly high standards, and deep operational knowledge and expertise in every aspect of UX and product design.

  • Strong research and analysis skills, arising from a desire to learn and ground decisions using data and consumer insights.

  • Mature & strong communication and presentation skills, able to articulate your point-of-view and engage in fact-based discourse.

  • Strong partnering skills with senior product and business leaders including the Executive team on strategy and execution.

  • You are agile and nimble in the elegant manner in which you pivot.

  • Strong collaboration skills, that enables you to bring colleagues and stakeholders along on the journey.

  • Resilience skills that enable you to feel at home in a fast-paced, iterative, and collaborative environment.

  • Robust prioritization skills that enable you to work on multiple tracks and pivot from one project to another.
