Full Job Description

  • To assist the Private Client department generally as and when required, providing support to Fee Earners and Paralegals

  • To deal wherever possible with routine client and third-party enquiries

  • To prepare correspondence and documents

  • Transcribe digital dictation

  • To administer filing which will include scanning, daily filing and the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files in accordance with the office procedures

  • To prepare mail and enclosures for despatch by post/email or fax

  • To ensure the confidentiality of all the Firm's and clients' documentation and information

  • Liaise with other departments within the firm as necessary

  • Liaise with clients in person and over the phone

  • Any ad hoc duties as and when required

    Previous Probate Legal Secretarial experience is essential

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Case Management systems and legal software

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask

  • Ability to work independently using own initiative and as part of a team
