QA Automation Engineer (Backend)

As a QA Engineer, you'll be a crucial member of our newly centralised team tasked with establishing consistent testing processes across our diverse range of technologies. You'll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and UX/UI professionals to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our solutions.,

• Implement robust testing strategies and processes across Hawk-Eye Innovations and beyond.


• Ensure testing is conducted consistently and effectively.


• Identify and implement efficient automation processes and tools.


• Foster strong relationships and collaboration with cross-functional teams.


• Support Black Box sessions for retrospective and postmortem analysis.
  
  Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.


• Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages such as C++, Python, Java, and/or JavaScript.


• Strong understanding of API testing principles and tools like Postman or RestAssured.


• Familiarity with database concepts and SQL queries for data validation.


• Knowledge of RESTful API principles and best practices.


• Experience setting up test automation frameworks from scratch.


• Understanding of CI/CD tools for automated build, test, and deployment processes.


• Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective relationships.


• Agile software development experience and proficiency with JIRA or similar tools.


• Competent in implementing test strategies across various technology disciplines.
