Full Job Description
Our client requires a Senior or Project Quantity Surveyor for a Highways project in Southampton., Senior or Project Quantity Surveyor Duties to include:
- Support all tasks on site as directed by the Commercial Manager/Directors.
- Have a good understanding of NEC4
- Competent in reading and understanding specifications and drawings.
- Be competent in using Microsoft Word/Excel whilst keeps efficient site records.
- Preparation and issue of contractual letters/emails to clients and/or sub-contractors.
- Site Measurement.
- Preparation and submission of Early warnings.
- Preparation, submission and agreement of variations & Compensation Events.
- Preparation, submission and agreement of interim valuations and final accounts.
- Preparation and submission of monthly cost and project reporting, including CVR's
- Agreement and certification of sub-contractor's interim valuations and final account.
UK driver's licence
-Experienced in earthworks and drainage.
-Experienced in working on motorways, and highways sector
-CSCS Card
-Relevant References and Experience
As the desired candidate, you will have, preferable experience working on highways contracts, be a team player.
