PCAS Kent is a growing company within the social care sector, providing supported living and outreach services for people with autism, learning disabilities, mental health conditions and dementia. We work in partnership with providers of social housing to offer only the highest quality of accommodation as we recognise that the environment in which people live, can have an impact on their overall wellbeing., We are currently recruiting a Recruitment Co-ordinator to join our busy team who will be responsible for attracting candidates and overseeing the end-to-end recruitment activities across the organisation in relation to all vacancies, ensuring a seamless process from initial contact to offer of employment.

Reporting to the HR Team Leader, the role will include the following:

Summary of Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with managers to establish staff requirements and specific job objectives.

  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment activities across the organisation in relation to all vacancies, ensuring a seamless process from initial contact to offer of employment.

  • Work closely with hiring managers and other key individuals to ensure a smooth, timely and cost-effective recruitment and selection process is delivered.

  • Create and post job adverts on recruitment websites, social media platforms and community boards.

  • Consult and engage with hiring manages on interviewing and selection techniques and provide support during interviewing and selection processes.

  • Responsible for the coordination of shortlisting and interview set-up, including finalising the schedule, call candidates, sending invites and liaising with managers to ensure that all paperwork is sent prior to interview.

  • Ensure all job adverts and descriptions are advertised in a timely manner and are up to date.

  • Promote best practice throughout the recruitment process to optimise the candidate journey, ensuring at every touch point they receive a great recruitment experience.

  • Manage the Recruitment mailbox ensuring candidates queries are dealt with in a timely manner.

  • Responsible for the entry, maintenance and integrity of application information and being the first point of contact for all applicant enquiries.

  • Ensure all relevant legally required and organisational checks (CQC) are carried out and completed prior to employment of applicant, to include DBS, references and employment history.

  • Record all recruitment paperwork, candidate information, interview and assessment questions, panel notes etc and ensure copies are save in Recruitment folders.

  • Research new sources for attracting candidates using a variety of different platforms.

  • Develop strong working relationships with key departments across PCAS to ensure a strong customer service provision.

  • Participate in recruitment fairs and career events and other recruitment events as required/necessary.

  • Use social media to its full potential as a resourcing medium and to target specific specialist skills.

  • Contribute to the development and successful delivery of ad-hoc recruitment and HR projects and initiatives.

  • To ensure consistent and effective implementation of PCAS's Equality, Diversity and Inclusion policy and procedures.

  • Positively promote an environment within the Group which respects and values the diversity of both staff and service users.

    Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within a recruitment function

  • Ability to use CV database, job boards, social media channels including LinkedIn to search and directly source potential candidates. Ability to utilise social media as an effective recruitment tool, along with Microsoft office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience of delivering recruitment support to hiring managers at relevant level.

  • Strong recruitment administration experience with sound knowledge of end-to-end recruitment.

  • Strong understanding of the recruitment cycle and best practice recruitment methodologies. Can demonstrate general knowledge, interpretation, and application of UK employment legislation.

  • Outstanding organisational skills - demonstrating flexibility with ability to juggle multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent attention to detail with problem solving mindset. Being self-motivated, persistent, and diligent.

  • Ability to analyse, assimilate and present data in various forms both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
