Full Job Description

Are you an enthusiastic, registered Nurse looking for a new challenge in a friendly supportive Environment?, Medical Day Care provides non theatre day case treatments for a variety of specialties including Haematology, Rheumatology ,Gastroenterology, Neurology, Immunology and Renal. Listed are some of the intravenous therapies and treatments we deliver (but not limited to):

  • Immunoglobulins

  • Biologics

  • Bisphosphonates

  • Iron infusions

  • Blood transfusions

  • Endocrinology testing

  • Ascitic Drains


  • You will be expected to work within a team and liaise with various health workers, Doctors and GP's etc.

    You would be supported to manage your allocated daily work load. You will need to be competent in the use of IT systems which are an essential part of your role there will be an expectation to develop existing skills further as the needs of the service dictate.

    We aim for excellence and to provide a high quality service. This is reflected by the fact that we won the Director of Nursing award 'Team of the Year' in 2015.

    Medical Day Care is open Monday-Friday 8am-8pm, and Saturday/Sunday 9am-1pm. All staff work shift patterns within these hours (not 12 hour shifts).
