Base Location: Andover, Aldershot, Basingstoke, Oxford, Southampton, Petersfield, New Forest, Poole, Swindon, Thatcham, Portsmouth, Salisbury, Slough, Reading or Melksham, Join us as we seek a talented Rising Mains Contracts Manager to become part of our team!

As the Rising Mains Contracts Manager you will oversee financial management, ensure high-quality work within budget and timelines, and manage construction projects across four regions for SSEN.

We are looking for someone with exceptional customer service skills to meet and exceed customer and regulator expectations.

Other roles & responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Manage over 50 design and delivery projects with various partners, balancing customer needs, resources, and costs.

- Ensure safe outcomes, promoting a positive culture for Safety, Health, and Environment.

- Prioritise customers in every decision to exceed expectations and provide great service.

- Oversee financials and contracts to ensure work meets cost and quality standards, monitoring contractors daily.

- Respond to emergency events including severe weather as required and ensure that third party contractor are only resourced when necessary.

Experience in leading and motivating small teams in a target driven environment that delivers projects and programmes.

- A good understanding of contract, contractor and commercial management.

- Familiar with client responsibilities under Construction Regulations 2015 and related laws.

- An understanding of LV network operations and Rising Mains asset replacement/enhancement works within distribution network.

- Relevant operational / technical experience and knowledge.

- Collaborative with commercial insight. - A strong leader who is reliable, respectful, and makes good decisions.

It is an essential requirement for this role that you have a full, current driving licence.

Salary: £49,559 - £56,757 + car/cash allowance and a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
