Robot Welder Operator

The successful applicant will join our team of day welders - platers and should have some knowledge of robot welding cells and the running thereof, and will be welding a wide variety of components, mainly in mild steel by operating a robot welding cell. You will be producing a range of small to medium sized components for our commercial vehicles.

The applicant should be able to read engineering drawings and plate these prior to finish welding them with the robot cell. The applicant will also aid in the day to day running/maintenance checks of an automated robot welder. Maintain jigs, load and unload parts and process parts for production.

Econ Engineering Limited are the UK's largest supplier of winter maintenance vehicles and we are looking to recruit a Robot Welder Operator.

An attractive rate of pay is payable and a bonus is paid on achievement of targets.

Hours are 39 hours per week Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 5.00pm and Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm with an hour lunch break each day. Overtime may also be available.
