Robotics Software Engineer - Navigation Algorithms

This is an opportunity for an ambitious engineer who has strong mathematical modelling capability prior experience or aspirations of being a key person within defining technical development, and guiding the development direction for a range of products which are utilised across different industries.

In this role you will develop algorithms for data sensors and navigation technologies, supporting the integration and deployment of real-time codebases. You will also define requirements for different sensor packages, and model, simulate, and characterise their behaviour

In addition to a formal qualification within Mathematics, Computer Science, or a similar technical discipline, suitable applicants should be able to demonstrate:

• Qualified to MSc or PhD level, with a passion for mathematical modelling


• Good appreciation of C++ programming and using modelling tools, most notably Matlab


• Knowledge of Kalman filters would be highly advantageous


• Prior experience with navigation technologies (GNSS, GNC, GPS)


• An interest in robotics
