Full Job Description

  • Produce quotations for domestic and commercial customers using our systems including Excel and Word.

  • Respond to initial enquiries by email & phone and follow up throughout the sales cycle.

  • Occasionally attend site meetings if required.

  • Research and learn systems in order to provide bespoke solutions.

  • Be proactive in contacting and building relationships with new and existing leads, as well as different suppliers.

  • Keep systems up to date as required.

  • Working within a small team, you must be flexible and willing to undertake other tasks within the company including attending site and helping with installations if/when required.

    You will need to be a self-driven person with confidence and experience in both sales and estimating. You should be able to build a relationship with both domestic and commercial clients and be happy to develop new and existing leads.


    • You should have experience producing quotations in a construction related environment and ideally have knowledge of commercial contracts and the tendering process. Any experience of curtain wall systems, systems glazing, frameless or architectural glass would be an advantage.

    No one project is ever the same and as part of your role you will need to constantly research and understand different systems in order to find the best solution to suit the customers requirements.,
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Confident telephone manner.

  • Ability to read construction/architectural drawings.

  • Experience in sales and estimating.

  • Due to our countryside location, a driving license is essential.


    • Desirable:
  • Knowledge and experience of curtain wall systems, systems glazing, frameless or architectural glass.

  • Ability to use AutoCAD or similar.

  • Knowledge of the construction industry tendering process.

  • Experience working in Sales or Business Development., GCSE or equivalent (preferred)


    • Experience:
  • Sales: 1 year (preferred)

  • Estimating: 1 year (preferred)

    Precision Glass Ltd are a bespoke glazing contractor specialising in frameless and curved architectural glass solutions - think Curved Glass Staircases, Glass Liftshafts and Frameless Glass Enclosures. We work with both domestic and commercial clients providing solutions to meet their requirements. We are currently looking for a Sales Estimator to join our team.
