Full Job Description

As an experienced and dynamic Utilities Specialist you will join our existing sales team in playing a crucial role in driving our energy sales initiatives from start to finish. You will do this by fostering relationships with key clients, leveraging your industry expertise to provide strategic energy solutions and exceed sales targets contributing to the overall growth of our business. This role will consist of a full 360 sales cycle. You will be tasked with your own business development, through tasks such as cold calling and LinkedIn prospecting.

Role Requirements:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities.

  • As part of the 360 sales role you will develop prospects taking ownership as they move through our sales process, to a point of closing the business.

  • Understand clients' energy needs and propose tailored solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Conduct thorough energy assessments and present findings to clients.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed set targets.

  • Conduct prospecting and business development confidently demonstrating an excellent telephone manner.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in the energy sector.

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of our products and services to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.

  • Lead negotiations with clients to secure favourable contracts and agreements.

  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all sales-related documentation.

  • Confidently work in a target driven environment where performance is directly linked to lead conversion.

    Proven track record of success in energy sales, with a focus on B2B clients.

  • Strong understanding of the energy industry, including knowledge of renewable energy solutions.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Previous experience in a senior sales role is highly desirable., GCSE or equivalent (preferred)


  • Experience:
  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

  • B2B sales: 1 year (preferred)
