Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your role will involve monitoring premises, preventing theft, and ensuring the overall security of the facility.

Duties:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of all individuals on-site
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify any suspicious activity
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents and take appropriate action
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
- Enforce access control procedures to prevent unauthorized entry
- Conduct bag checks, metal detector screenings, or other security measures as required
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of all activities during your shift
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary

Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of first aid procedures is beneficial
- Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and surveillance systems (CCTV) is a plus
- Strong observation skills with the ability to quickly identify potential security risks
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
