Self Employed plasterer Handyman / woman

We are seeking a skilled Plasterer/ handyman/woman to join our team. As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying plaster and other materials to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create a smooth and even finish. Your attention to detail and ability to work with precision will be crucial in ensuring high-quality results.

Duties:

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning and smoothing them prior to applying plaster

- Mix plaster and other materials according to specific ratios

- Apply plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using hand tools or mechanical sprayers

- Create decorative finishes by using different techniques such as texturing or molding

- Repair damaged plaster surfaces by filling cracks or holes

- Ensure proper adhesion of plaster by applying bonding agents or primers

- Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective equipment while working

Proven experience as a Plasterer or similar role

- Solid knowledge of plastering techniques, materials, and tools

- Ability to read blueprints or drawings to determine the layout of plasterwork

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision

- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods

- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
