The successful candidate will be required to provide references, undergo employment checks and an enhanced disclosure via the DBS

    We are looking to appoint an aspirational, energetic and driven leader, who is passionate about SEND and Inclusion to join our school.

    The successful applicant will ideally have previous experience working as a SENCo, including the relevant qualification and experience. However, we would consider applications from outstanding classroom practitioners who are passionate about SEND, aspirational and have a willingness to undertake the relevant qualification.

    We are looking for someone who:

  • is a qualified, or aspiring, SENCo and an outstanding practitioner, who will lead by example


  • has the ability to work strategically alongside the Senior Leadership Team in order to drive school improvement for our most vulnerable pupils and staff


  • has a strong character, able to deal with challenges and is solution focused


  • is passionate about inclusion, personalised learning and committed to enhancing the life chances of all children


  • has excellent subject knowledge, with a proven track record for raising attainment and expectations


  • can work with colleagues to further enhance our plan of provision, support and intervention, leading to effective practice across the whole staff


  • has excellent interpersonal skills and recognises the importance of well-being for every pupil, family, and staff member
