Full Job Description

CAN-PHANTOM LIMITED is a company developing and manufacturing a range of high technology vehicle security systems, servicing the UK and worldwide market in both B2B and B2C, an opportunity exists for the position of Senior development engineer.

  • Embedded C/C++ (RTOS and/or bare metal - minimum of 4 years)

  • Digital Electronics Design (minimum of 4 years)

  • Experience with Low Level Serial Protocols e.g. UART, SPI, I2C (minimum of 4 years)

  • Some analogue electronics design.

  • Revision Control (GIT)

  • CAN protocol

  • Bluetooth, BLE

  • ESP32, ARM, RISC-V

  • TCP/IP Protocol Design

  • GNSS (GPS, Galileo, Beidou, etc.)

  • Web Front End Programming (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

  • AI & Machine Learning

  • Web Back-End Programming (e.g. NodeJS, PHP, Databases)

  • Cloud Integration (e.g. AWS)

  • Windows Programming (C#, MVVM)

  • Linux

  • Mobile App Development (Android, iOS, Xamarin, Maui, etc.)

  • Analogue Electronics Design

  • 3D CAD (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Designspark Mechanical, etc.)

  • 3D Printing


  • Desired Qualifications
    A Degree in a related subject.
    Experience
    At least 4 years of C/C++, Digital Electronics, Design & low-level serial protocol experience is required for this hands-on role.
