Full Job Description

As a Quality Engineer in our Quality department, you will form part of a team to support Speciality Eye Care (Procornia & No 7) activities.

Reporting directly to the Quality Engineering Manager, the Senior Quality Engineer (QE) holds a role in ensuring the seamless integration of quality assurance processes across the organization.

The scope of the Senior QE's responsibilities encompasses the following, but not limited to;

  • Quality Management System Integration Activities

  • KPI Definition/Establishment

  • Trending

  • Process Validation

  • Change Control

  • Sampling Regimes Assessment Training



  • We are looking for someone who has previously worked within the medical or life sciences sector who is also strong driver, communicator, and influencer., Bachelor degree in Engineering, Science or related field or proven Quality background - ideally five years' exposure to the medical or life sciences sectors.

  • Five years contact lens or process knowledge in QA, and / or manufacturing.

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodology

  • Strong, current grasp of medical device regulatory and cGMP requirements - knowledge of FDA and ISO processes specifically would be a distinct advantage.

  • Knowledge of and experience with Quality Systems and the eQMS system. Knowledge of FDA cGMP/QSR and ISO Regulations. Applied knowledge of statistical tools: Acceptance Sampling, SPC, etc.
