Bouygues UK have a challenging opportunities for a Senior Quantity Surveyors to join us on our school projects based in the either the Harrow/Hayes area. The two projects are valued at around 90 million, there will be a Senior QS for each project. The project will involve the demolition of existing buildings, refurbishment works and a new build, along the provision of temporary accommodation
Job Purpose and Scope:
You will be responsible for maximising the commercial Results/Cash position of projects in terms of delivering optimum profit performance against internal budgets. Assist with the management of the procurement of Sub-contractors, and their financial & contractual management. Support the preparing and agreeing Interim Valuations with the Client & for progressing the agreement of Variations as the work proceeds utilising company tools. Collaborating with the Project Manager and other members of the Project team.

+ Residential/School sector experience
+ Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor
+ Preparing timely monthly financial reports which accurately forecast net margin & activity utilising the company tools, procedures & rules
+ Good commercial awareness
+ Demonstrates strong attention to detail and produces accurate work
+ Demonstrate a solid understand/management of company reporting timetables, as well as key tools & procedures

+ Post-contract financial forecasting financial reporting & control
+ Design management and value engineering
+ Sub-contract & consultant procurement
+ Sub-contract & consultant management
+ Client account management
+ Management of graduate and assistant surveyors
