Senior Quantity Surveyor

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be responsible for supporting all the aspects of contract management, ensuring contract requirements are compliant with standards and to maximise delivery., · Oversee the processes involved with keeping supplier information relevant and up to date.

· Administer and manage ongoing contracts on live schemes.

· Help prepare activity schedules and assist with tender processes for new contracts.

· To assist the Commercial Manager and Director with mentoring and providing guidance to other members in the team.

· Knowledge of commercial and/or financial audits.

· Monitoring site costs on a weekly basis as well as labour cost allocations and processes. To ensure work is carried out in accordance with the Company's Health and Safety Policy.

· Manage and report on project changes, ensuring best practise.

· Educated in Quantity Surveying to at least NVQ level.

· Civils, utilities or highways background

· Experience in building relationships with both service providers and company partners - including Executives and other Senior Managers.

· Good attention to detail with excellent time management skills.

· Strong analytical skills to be able to manage, collate and store data ensuring best practise.

· Experienced in using Microsoft Office (Particularly Outlook, Excel & Word)

· Team orientated individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
