Full Job Description

We are pleased to announce that we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Support Worker. Fixed term contract for 1 year with the possibility of permanent employment for the correct individual.,

  • Assist in managing the care of the young people that live with us, monitoring the quality and delivery of the service.

  • Lead by example, motivate and develop the team to deliver a high quality provision.

  • Ensure that the safety of the young people is paramount at all times.

  • Ensure that the team is effective in providing a stimulating environment that encourages and promotes the young people's independence, whilst maintaining a high level of care.

  • Liaise with parents/carers and other professionals.

  • Ensuring risk assessments are up to date.

  • Implementing/updating care plans.

  • Completing and mentoring staff with compliance checks.

  • Be part of the on-call rota.

  • Undertake duties, which may be delegated by the Registered/Service Manager

  • Who you are

  • You will have experience in social care.

  • You will have leadership skills and are motivated, with the ability to motive others.

  • You will be resilient and positive with a "can do" attitude.

  • Flexible, reliable and a team player.

  • Good communication.

  • Good computer skills

  • Experienced implementing care plans/risk assessments.
