Full Job Description
- Deliver a high quality and competitive Building Control service in a way that contributes to the achievement of the City Council's vision and objectives for a growing and sustainable city.
- Deliver an effective and co-ordinated Building Control function through design appraisal and site inspection service having due regard for the commercial sensitivity of the service and its operation as a stand alone business unit.
- Ensure the safety of the public both through the management and response to dangerous or dilapidated structures and a co-ordinated approach and response in relation to event safety.
Must be registered with the BSR as class 1 . - Registered with a competence validation scheme which is in progress.
- Previous surveyor and building experience.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in surveying software and tools.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.

£25.66 - £28.76 an hour - Full-time, Temporary contract
