Full Job Description
We are looking for a Service Technician - Laboratory Products for our Services department at Sartorius. In this role, you will be responsible for repair, fault finding, maintaining and calibrating laboratory instruments such as balances, lab filtration, centrifuges and pipettes in our laboratory workshop at our Epsom site.
This position is available full time and based on site in Epsom.

- On a daily basis you will repair, maintain and calibrate instruments received into the laboratory and workshop and assist in the booking in of instruments received
- You will assist in the supervision of all work within the laboratory and workshop, facilitate training of technicians, provide technical support to Field Service Engineers
- Do you enjoy providing excellent customer service? You will liaise with customers on a day to day basis via email or phone
- In addition, you will complete documentation to comply with required technical and regulatory standards
- You will replicate testing and engineering reviews when requested
- You will work closely with UKAS personnel to ensure the laboratory is performing within the required standards

Do you have experience in working with laboratory equipment in a regulated environment or electrical equipment in another industry?, HNC/HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification would be ideal - Experience in repairing, maintaining, or calibrating laboratory equipment in a regulated environment (pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, research, contract testing laboratories, UKAS laboratories or electronics etc.) though candidates from other industries will also be considered (electronics, domestic services, manufacturing etc.)
- Experience working with electrical equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, fault find and service technical equipment
- Familiarity with UKAS accreditation standards
- Highly organised and strong customer service skills
- Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised
- Team player
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills
- 37.5 hours working week
