Sister / Charge Nurse

WHAT YOULL DO Successful candidates will work in the catheter labs, supporting all junior members of the team with their training and development.On a rotational daily basis, they will be the nurse in charge for the catheter labs. They will work within the TAVI team, supporting the service expansion and ensuring continuity of cover for the service.Responsibility for TAVI stock and reordering will fall within their remit. WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR The successful candidate will be an experienced catheter lab nurse.TAVI valve preparation experience and sign off is essential to the role. Vascular cutdown training will be provided if required.Evidence of mentoring and training of junior staff within the Cath lab setting is expected. Attendance at relevant regional and national meeting is encouraged. Procedures in the catheter lab are constantly changing and evolving, an interest in and understanding of how research influences change, is essential.
