Full Job Description

We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience as a Social Media Manager / Account Manager - this role will ensure that we deliver the service agreed to our clients, manage client relationships and work very closely with the Head of Social Media to ensure that their time is free to generate new business.

You will be managing a team of staff, currently at 5 but rapidly expanding.

What you will be doing

Client Relationship Management: Maintain and enhance relationships with clients to ensure exceptional service and achieve 100% client retention. Act as the primary point of contact for client communications and inquiries.

Client Onboarding: Collaborate with the Head of Social Media in the onboarding process for all new clients, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition into the service.

Service Delivery Management: Work closely with the Head of Social Media to understand new business packages and strategies, and be responsible for the execution and delivery of agreed services to clients.

Performance Reviews: Conduct regular client reviews to discuss and evaluate the performance of social media campaigns, providing insights and strategies for improvement.

Customer Query Handling: Address inbound customer queries related to all aspects of the service, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.

Content Creation and Management: Coordinate with internal and offshore teams to create and deliver high-quality content tailored to the needs of clients. Be directly involved in creating content for key clients, ensuring alignment with their brand and communication strategy.

Mentoring and Training: Mentor and train Junior Social Media Executives, fostering their professional growth and enhancing their skills in social media management.

Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with various teams within the organisation to ensure cohesive efforts in content creation, campaign execution, and client service.

Strategy Development: Assist in developing social media strategies that align with client objectives and market trends, contributing to the overall success of the campaigns.

Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present detailed reports on campaign performance, insights, and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Proven experience in managing a team of social media specialists, including setting goals, providing feedback, and harnessing a collaborative work environment.

  • Minimum of 5 years of current experience managing Social Media accounts and content delivery.

  • Ability to develop strong rapport with varying types of customer

  • Ability to work independently and use own initiative


  • What you hopefully will have done
  • Other Digital marketing such as SEO, web design

  • social media ads experience required but not essential, A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
