Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Acorns Day Services team in Pembury to support adults with learning difficulties,
autism spectrum conditions and / or physical disabilities to access various arts and crafts activities in the week.

This post would be well suited to you if you are a creative individual who doesn't mind making a little mess - especially if it
means making someone's day!

You will work within a team on site under the supervision of the manager and senior members and act as a positive role model for
the day service users, creating opportunities for them to reach their potential, pursue a fulfilled and chosen lifestyle based on
principles of normalisation and informed choice., Any offer would be subject to Disclosure and Barring checks, which we will complete on your behalf if you don't already have one,

of the charity.

If you are someone who is passionate about art and about supporting adults with learning disabilities, this role could be perfect
for you!

You should be an enthusiastic, motivated and caring team player, with previous experience of working with adults with autism
spectrum conditions and a L2 NVQ in health and social care (or willingness to work towards this).

Whilst working at Aspens you will be supported to complete all essential training as well as service specific training. You will
