Trusstec Ltd - Factory Operative

Working in an energetic; fast-paced environment in a team of four people, while maintaining high levels of accuracy, teamwork and work output.

Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 6am-3pm and Friday 6am-12am (40 hour working week), with OT Monday to Thursday until 4pm (if required)

Main duties would include but are not limited to:

• The lifting of timbers, with the ability to place materials correctly into a jig for manufacturing.


• Timber and metal picking from timber yard for the order to be manufactured.


• Assisting with the loading of delivery vehicle, when required.


• General housekeeping and tidying.


• Adhering to all H&S requirements and working safely and neatly at all times.


• Any other reasonable management requests.
  
  Self-motivated with a dedicated approach.


• Be attentive with a clear focus on your work and others.


• Well organized with a methodical way of working.


• Must have the ability to read drawings.


• Detail conscious.


• Basic numeracy skills.


• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills., Factory: 2 years (preferred)


• Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)


• Timber: 1 year (preferred)
  
  Trusstec Ltd is a well established family run business that was founded in 1988 in Theale, Reading. Trusstec Ltd manufacture timber trussed rafters or Roof Trusses and Easi Joist metal web joists. Trusstec supply areas around the UK such as Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire, Surrey, Buckinghamshire, Kent and London.
