Full Job Description

CHD Living is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Wellbeing coordinator to support our service users at our care home in Wormley, Godalming.

Established in 1984, we are a family-owned group of care services in Surrey and South London.

Are you a fan of impromptu sports days? Spontaneous Bingo sessions? How about strolls around the nature reserve? Unbelievably, we're not talking about a fun day out - but a typical day in the life of our Wellbeing coordinator!

At CHD Living, we're looking for an upbeat, friendly and motivated individual to provide a wide range of stimulating activities and outings for our residents. Our company ethos is 'Creating Happiness Daily', which means that our utmost priority is to ensure that our residents lead happy and fulfilling lives - whilst having a lot of fun in the process!

You'll be expected to spend time with each resident to get to know them - which can include chats over a cup of tea, companiable walks in the garden or even nail-painting sessions - we don't judge! In doing so, you can take on board their likes and dislikes to ensure the delivery of tailored, person-centred activities, all of which must follow best practice guidelines.

To avoid residents deeming our activities a total snoozefest, you'll be expected to conduct regular reviews of the programme to ensure what we offer is stimulating, engaging and varied. To keep tabs as to whether residents are enjoying these activities, their records will need to be updated to show their involvement and the effectiveness of our activities, excursions and outings.

In addition to these attributes, ideally you'd consider yourself to be a 'people person', as we'd love for you to establish links with the wider community. We've found that integrating residents into community initiatives creates memorable and fun experiences for all involved (wellbeing coordinators included!).

If you'd like to be part of a fun, thriving team, who strives to make a different to our residents' lives on a daily basis, then please drop us a message!
